Hi Ya'all! I am Lucy, The Hereford Heifer - a bloggin, tweetin, baby raising, grass eatin and trouble findin, purebred registered Hereford Cow.

Yes. A cow. With a blog. And lots to say about cow life.

Aren't we pretty?

I live in the promised land - the rolling prairie of South Dakota, on a ranch with other cows. Our Farmers are very nice and take the best care of us, from when it's really cold to when it's really hot - and they don't get too mad when I get away!!  I am about to have my first baby - my first because I just turned 2 (on Valentines Day!!) My best friend is Token 2, my worst enemy is Dog, and my one true love in this world is my Farmer. He gives me all my favorite things to eat. He makes me nice beds to lay in. He even has a nice creek in the pasture for me to cool off in when its hot. And a windbreak when its cold. I love Farmer.

So follow my blog. And tweet me. I don't promise daily updates - cow life isn't that exciting, and its hard to type with two big toes.
